#BibleBreakDown - Christian Conduct

Welcome to another edition of #BibleBreakDown. Today we are going to focus on christian conduct.

Lets Go!

Titus 3:2

"...Tell them not to speak evil of anyone, but to be peaceful and friendly, and always to show a gentle attitude toward everyone..."

First of all wow wow wow! There is a lot of information to take in here. We will look at the the verse in three parts. Part one - "tell them not to speak evil to anyone" clearly demands us to love each other as we love ourselves. I don't think anybody with same mental health would talk themselves down and speak evil things to themselves. If the strongest weapon we have against our enemies is prayer, which is impossible to conduct out loud without our tongues, then the same tongue we speak to each other with can be used to lift people up or tear them down. I wont list what evil is because in our own experiences we have all be on the receiving end it once or twice.....or more.  What I will point out is that your persona around people can be perceived as uninviting, negative and evil to some.

"...be peaceful and friendly, and always to show a gentle attitude toward everyone..."

Part 2 &3. To embody peace in a world which in consistently as war with itself is difficult to say the least, but as Christians we have something special. The Holy Spirit. From this we can be more friendly in times when it is hard to be. At Church. At home. Online (a major part of most peoples lives). And outside in the secular world. Actively working on being a better christian will lead to success eventually. Be patient. You wont be disappointed. Able, Joseph, Abraham, Hannah weren't, right!?
